Our calling and mission is to provide the highest quality independent loss control, risk management and safety consulting in the eastern United States. I am a solo consultant, very experienced and knowledgeable; contracting nothing to other firms. I can accept a small number of high-end of assignments for insurers, brokers or agents who want them done right the first time. I'm not looking to do a lot of work for anyone else, but can take a few more assignments in the northeast, the mid-atlantic and southeast.
My expertise is Workers' Comp and liability, specifically health care and non-profits. I have written about the liability crisis which involved nursing homes in the early 2000's. I was trained using CNA's Cost Management philosophy of early to mid 1990's in order to identify severity based cost drivers and provide detailed accident analysis using this approach. Control strategies are developed for the top cost driver until it has abated. Surveys are conducted using regulatory standards as benchmarks for recommendations, such as OSHA, NFPA or ANSI.
Ongoing - service capabilities and training opportunities and development of written safety or risk management programs exist within the area defined above. I am an OSHA trainer for construction as well as general industry, which means that I can conduct workplace safety training which will result in providing 10 and 30-hour OSHA cards for your employees, contractors or others. OSHA mandates several written programs within their workplace safety standards, such as hazard communication for instance. I have written these programs, conducted the safety training which accompanies them and provided the cost management support to reduce your workplace accidents on a systemic level.
